About Us

Yankel & Company Catering was started in 1980 and has long served Central New Yorkers celebrating weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs, graduations and anniversaries.  In 1994, Frederick Kraus returned to Syracuse with his wife Karin and their family to carry on the traditions and standards of Yankel & Company Catering.

For intimate gatherings to extravagant bashes, kosher to casual to exotic, and everything in between, Yankel & Company Catering continues to deliver fine food and memorable events to Central New York.  We are honored to serve you at our new location in East Syracuse, New York or at the offsite venue of your choice.

The Links at Erie Village and Traditions at the Links located in East Syracuse, New York provides a spectacular setting for our banquet facilities and championship public golf course.

Our beautifully renovated Ballroom accommodates 425 guests with a full bar, 16’x 24’ dance floor, making it a perfect place to host school functions, company parties or wedding receptions.  This room features a fireplace, an adjoining room for cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, or additional seating, and several entrances to our outdoor deck overlooking our scenic golf course.  Our Main Dining Room offers a more quaint setting for up to 100 people and features its own full bar, fireplace and deck entrances.  Nothing is more elegant than our very own Stickley Room which seats 60 people and also features everything Stickley, its own bar, and balcony and deck entrances.  The more casual atmosphere, The Pub and The Deck are great places to relax after a round of golf.  They serve up to 80 people with a full restaurant menu and a full bar.  Please contact us at 315-656-5121 or email us at for more information.

Our well-equipped kitchen prepares a variety of banquet dinners and buffet selections, from casual to formal, accommodating most price ranges.  Our experienced banquet staff will work with you to customize any menu or beverage requests you may have.  Each banquet room is equipped with a sound system and has convenient access to restroom facilities. Audio-visual aids for meetings are also available.

High School and Youth Banquets

Holiday Parties and Corporate Events

The Links is the best place to hold your holiday party.  Our facility is decorated for the season for the end of November to the end of January.  We also specialize in corporate banquets, large and small meetings and seminars, employee awards and appreciation, and retirement banquets etc.  Please contact out banquet office at 315-656-5298 for special menus, pricing and availability.

Bar Services

Bar Services can be arranged to meet your needs.  One bartender is recommended per 75 guests.  You may select cash or host bar, and a variety of Liquors, Champagne, Wines and Beers are available.  For groups of 40 guests or less, there is a bartender charge of $75.00.

Food and Beverage Pricing

Prices are subject to change, and cannot be guaranteed until 90 days prior to the function date.  All receptions must choose from The Links Banquet Dinner, Buffet, or Hors D’oeuvres menus.  Special menu selections can be designed by our chef and banquet management team.  Please feel free to inquire.


Your menu selection must be chosen at least 14 days prior to the event date.  Your number of guests must be guaranteed at least 7 days prior to your event.  All billings will be based on the guarantee, or the actual number of guests served, if larger than the guarantee.

Decorations and Displays

You may bring your own table decorations.  Access to any of our rooms is based on availability.  Please check with our banquet staff to make arrangements.  The Links assumes no responsibility for any personal property that the patrons or their guests bring on the premises, or any loss or damages incurred to personal property.  GLITTER AND CONFETTI ARE NOT PERMITTED.  Nothing can be attached to the ceilings or walls for decoration use.  All decorations must be approved by the Links management staff.

Food and Beverage Regulations

Food and beverages may not be brought onto the premises, with the exception of bakery prepared cakes, cookies, etc.  Extra food and beverages cannot be removed from The Links.  For golf outing that have products donated, half of everything donated will be split with The Links the day of the event.

Room Charges, Deposits, Service Charge and New York State Sales Tax

There is a $1000.00 deposit for events held in the Ballroom, a $500.00 deposit for functions held in the Main Dining Room, and a $500.00 deposit for functions held in the Stickley Room or The Pub.  All prices are subject to a 20% service change and sales tax of 8.0%.  If paying with a credit card there will be a 3.5% handling fee added to your final bill.  White, Cream, or Black tablecloths and napkins are provided for all events.
